Black Gold Soap
Our Black Gold Soap is the stuff Christmas stories are made of! As many people know, three kings – also known as the “wise men” or Magi – brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. In the Bible, Matthew’s gospel tells us that the wise men “saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.”
We believe these gifts are to be further explored and so, we created this soap!
Our Black Gold Soap is ultra-luxurious with a creamy, velvety lather. Please don't be afraid of the color. It's chock full of activated charcoal to help draw out impurities from the skin. It will clean you up and rinse off without a trace. The activated charcoal detoxifies and soothes as you lather the skin. It draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne.
Charcoal is not metabolized, adsorbed or absorbed by the body, but it can be used to treat some poisonous bites and disinfect some wounds.
Frankincense Essential Oil creates a relaxing and uplifting atmosphere to reduce stress and tension. Frankincense is a sweet, woody base-note oil with a warm, herbal aroma. This ancient oil has a sacred quality, bringing you a deep sense of wholeness and peace.
Myrrh Essential Oil facilitates the fading of unwanted blemishes on the skin, soothes itchiness, and reduces symptoms of eczema among other skin ailments. It effectively cleans, moisturizes, and tightens the skin, thereby reducing and preventing chapping, cracking, and sagging.
Golden Mica Powder What is Mica? Mica is a mineral. Three different categories of rock types have the mineral mica in them. In black mica, there is a fairly common intermediate stage in weathering where it changes to a golden yellow color, has a bronzy lustre, and may be mistaken by inexperienced observers as flakes of gold.
